വിഷു- റമദാന്‍ ചന്തകള്‍ തടയരുതെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മിഷന് പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവിന്റെ കത്ത്
വിഷു- റമദാന്‍ ചന്തകള്‍ ആരംഭിക്കാന്‍ കണ്‍സ്യൂമര്‍ ഫെഡിന് അനുമതി നല്‍കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് വി.ഡി.സതീശന്‍ മുഖ്യ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മിഷന് കത്ത് നല്‍കി. പൊതുവിപണിയില്‍ അവശ്യസാധനങ്ങളുടെ വില കുതിക്കുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ വിഷു- റമദാന്‍ ചന്തകള്‍ സാധാരണക്കാര്‍ക്ക് ആശ്വാസമാകുമെന്നും ഇത് തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് പെരുമാറ്റച്ചട്ടത്തിന്റെ ലംഘനമല്ലെന്നും പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് കത്തില്‍ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി.
ഉത്തരവാദിത്തങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും ഒളിച്ചോടുന്ന സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് പെരുമാറ്റ ചട്ടത്തിന്റെ പേരില്‍ ജനങ്ങളെ കബളിപ്പിക്കുകയാണ്. സപ്ലൈകോ ഔട്ട്ലെറ്റുകളില്‍ അവശ്യസാധനങ്ങള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെയുള്ള നിത്യോപയോഗ സാധനങ്ങള്‍ ഇല്ലാത്ത അവസ്ഥ ഇപ്പോഴും തുടരുന്നു. പെരുമാറ്റച്ചട്ടത്തിന്റെ പേരില്‍ വിപുലമായ ഉത്സവകാല ചന്തകള്‍ ഒഴിവാക്കാനാണ് സപ്ലൈകോയും ശ്രമിച്ചത്. സപ്ലൈകോ ആരംഭിച്ച വിഷു- റമദാന്‍ ചന്തകളുടെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനവും പേരിന് മാത്രമാണെന്നും പ്രതിപക്ഷനേതാവ് കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തി.

I am writing to request the Election Commission to allow the State Government to host the Vishu-Ramzan fairs organized by the Kerala State Cooperative Consumers’ Federation Ltd ahead of the festive season.
According to government officials, the Election Commission has denied the Consumerfed from holding subsidy fairs ahead of the Vishu and Ramsan festival citing poll conduct.With the prices of essential commodities skyrocketing, subsidy fairs should have provided much-needed relief to the general public ahead of festival season.
Because festive fairs are held on an annual basis, I believe they do not violate the model poll conduct in any way. Hence, I request that the Election Commission allow the Kerala State Cooperative Consumers’ Federation Limited to hold the Vishu-Ramzanfairs.
